Buy Ping Pong Tables Based on your Play Level.
71Outdoor or Indoor? Which One to Choose
Maybe you do need an outdoor table tennis. Not every single house rooms have enough space to have a ping pong table. Besides you may have a nice room to place your table tennis table and still don't have the space to play. There are several reasons why you should have your ping pong table outside:
- It is dangerous to play inside a house's room as you may encounter or trip over with various objects around the room.
- It is really uncomfortable to play table tennis in an indoor environment as the space might be really small or the ball may touch the ceiling while playing [spoiling that nice spinning shot].
- You will sweat too much. As it is in a closed environment you might sweat too much in the comfort of your 4 walls.
- If you play with windows or with the air conditioner on the airstream might affect your game's performance. Airstreams might affect your ball's movement and make you lose a point!
But let's say you DO have a BIG and empty room to place it. Perfect! I can tell you some reasons why you SHOULD buy an indoor table tennis table instead:
- Indoor ping pong tables are way cheaper.
- The ball might never get anywhere where you can't reach it.
- You can play ping pong with your friends or by yourself on rainny, stormy or snowy days. And even on those days when the sunlight is too strong.
- It's a lot harder to get it robbed [yay!]
- It might even be more durable as it won't have to face different temperatures and situations.

Can't I just use an indoor table outside?
So... why not buy a normal ping pong table and just place it on the outside? That's a good question... and here's the answer: Because you'll end up losing the money instead of just losing the ping pong game.
Here are some reasons why you should NOT buy a normal table to use it on the outside:
- A normal ping pong table without the resistence of an outdoor ping pong table will just get REALLY damaged with the changes in temperature and weather changes.
- As the material is not made to be put in grass or rough cement, the ping pong table's legs might get really damaged with tough movements.
- You might find it really hard to move a ping pong table from the inside of the house to the outside and viceversa again and again.

Interesting hub! I have been looking for a new table because I have had mine for about 10 years now and it has been through a lot. Thanks for the info!
